The Notre Dame Speech and Debate Team (formerly known as Forensics) has a long standing tradition of excellence in competitive public speaking and debate.  Students have the opportunity to develop their communication skills as well as representing our school at several tournaments throughout the school year. 


Awards and Recognition

October 28 Phillipsburg HS Fall Invitational 
Greg Bianchi won 6th place in Extemporaneous Speaking. Greg also competed in Impromptu Speaking.
Also representing Notre Dame were Chris Bianchi in Humorous Interpretation and Improvisational Acting, Harper Hogan in Declamation, and Eddie Nuber in Student Congress.

November 4 Allentown/ Scranton Joint Diocesan Tournament at Southern Lehigh Middle School 
Harper Hogan won 4th place in Declamation. Harper has qualified for the Diocesan National Qualifier to be held on March 3 at Northampton Community College. Also qualifying were Chris Bianchi in Dramatic Performance and Greg Bianchi in Extemporaneous Speaking.  Also representing Notre Dame was Rebecca Koury in Declamation.

November 11 Manville HS Mustang Classic 

Greg Bianchi won 6th place in Extemporaneous Speaking. Greg also competed in Impromptu Speaking.
Also representing Notre Dame was Eddie Nuber in Student Congress.
